Ralph Martinez – Regional Senior Vice President, Houston Region

Ralph Martinez currently serves as Regional Senior Vice President for Comcast’s Houston Region. He is the top executive responsible for operations, financial performance, customer service, and the region’s employees that support the Greater Houston area which includes nearly 72 communities.

With over 35 years in the telecommunications industry, Martinez is widely respected as a strategic thinker and leader who deeply values collaboration and teamwork. He is personally invested in the growth and development of all employees and values a collaborative culture that supports career advancement. He has successfully managed teams through important customer-affecting and employee-impacting initiatives, while regularly exceeding key operational and financial targets.

Martinez currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Partnership, the primary business advocate and regional economic development organization serving more than 1,000 member companies. In addition to also serving on the board of the United Way of Greater Houston, he supports a number of other Houston area service organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boys and Girls Clubs. Martinez is also responsible for introducing the Jester and Pharley Phund to the Houston community, which supports literacy initiatives within local schools. Martinez was recently honored with the Corporate Citizenship award in recognition of his commitment to diversity, social responsibility and education from the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans.

He and his wife have two adult daughters. They enjoy travelling and spending time with family. Martinez is an alumnus of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
