Comcast Technicians Working Quickly to Restore Services After Freight Train Fiber Tear

Crews are awaiting all clear from the train company to cross train tracks. 

Comcast Xfinity services have been impacted due to a freight train tearing down fiber. You can get updates on this outage below and see when service is expected to be restored in the Xfinity My Account app.

2:23 PM:  Crews are onsite and will begin recovery efforts momentarily.

3:40 PM: Crews are running half mile of fiber.

3:50 PM: Resources are in place for a speedy recovery.

5:12 PM: Crews are awaiting for the all clear from the train company to cross train tracks.

6:00 PM:  All clear has been granted from train company and fiber is across the tracks.

7:00 PM: Crews are prepping, some customers may see services are recovering.

8:13 PM: Prepping is complete. More Customers are beginning to recover.

10:42 PM: Crews remain on site. More customers are recovering services.

11:00 PM: All Customers confirmed online.
