Comcast Recognized for Community Support at State of the City Event

Missouri City Mayor Robin J. Elackatt held his inaugural State of the City address Thursday, August 5, featuring presentations from City Councilmembers and staff. Community stakeholders gathered to hear firsthand, the Show Me City’s vision, mission, and future. This grand celebration took place at City Hall Complex, located at 1522 Texas Pkwy.

“We are proud to recognize Comcast for their ongoing support to Missouri City,” said Mayor Robin J. Elackatt. “The 2021 ceremony was unique in that we hosted the annual event independently and focused on showcasing the wonderful partnerships we are fortunate to have with our citizens, stakeholders, and businesses, like Comcast. We all connected to learn about economic development, fiscal management, public safety, infrastructure improvements, recreational initiatives and more that is going on in our premier City.”

The 2021 Missouri City State of the City was emceed by Ray Aguilar, a supporter of the community; and Engineering Manager for EHRA. The event included a delicious meal, networking, and a fun social media raffle presented by Missouri City Councilmembers. The evening concluded with a post-event reception for guests in the City’s beautiful Visitors Center, featuring an art gallery and other MCTX displays.
