Beyond School Walls is a one-to-one youth mentoring program through which children from local schools meet with an employee volunteer mentor every other week during the school year. The program introduces children to jobs at an early age, allowing them to experience what it means to work for a corporation and the educational requirements needed to achieve professional success.
Each year, Comcast Houston partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston and Benbrook Elementary School bringing the magic of mentoring to life. For the 2018-19 school year, we enlisted the help of TORO, the official mascot of the NFL’s Houston Texans to help start the year on a cheerful note.
