In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Comcast recently honored 11 community volunteers at the third-annual Comcast Hispanic Hero Awards gala. The honorees were recognized for their commitment to making a difference in the community through volunteerism, mentorship, advocacy and civic engagement.

In addition to being recognized, each honoree will be featured in a 30-second Public Service Announcement that will air on Comcast. The company will also donate $1,000 to the nonprofit organization of the honoree’s choice.
