Houston Texans & Comcast Host Digital Literacy Workshop At The Havard Boys & Girls Club

Families of the Havard Boys & Girls Club took part in a Digital Literacy workshop hosted in partnership by Comcast and the Houston Texans.  Director of Government Affairs Melinda Little talked about the importance of digital inclusion and provided information about Internet Essentials program. Houston Texans player and former Boys & Girls Club member Aaron Colvin spoke about the importance of digital literacy, how to represent yourself, and the importance of education and the skills he learned while in school. Following the information session, families in attendance were able to meet and greet with Aaron, the Houston Texans Cheerleaders and enjoy several Houston Texans interactive games.  Comcast also made a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston and the Texans announced they will be bringing all families in attendance to a preseason game.
