Comcast announced that Xfinity Mobile, a new wireless service designed for the way people use their phones today, is now available in nine Xfinity Store locations across the Greater Houston area. First offered to Xfinity Internet customers for purchase online in all of Comcast’s service areas in May, the service is now rolling out market-by-market to all of its retail locations nationwide.
“We’re excited to bring our customers a new wireless service designed for the way people use their phones today, with the internet and data at the center of the experience,” said Ralph Martinez, regional senior vice president, Comcast Houston. “Mobility is more important than ever to consumers, and Xfinity Mobile provides a better wireless experience, for less money, on today’s most popular devices.”
Xfinity Mobile is now available at stores in Pasadena, League City, Sugar Land, Galleria, Katy, Cypress, near NW Houston (290/Tidwell), Humble and The Woodlands.
Xfinity Mobile combines the nation’s largest and most reliable 4G LTE network with the largest WiFi network of more than 16 million hotspots – including more than 650,000 throughout Houston – to support a seamless internet and entertainment experience in and out of the home. Available to all Xfinity Internet customers, the service is designed to save them money with up to five lines included, unlimited talk and text, and no line access fees.
Using the Xfinity Mobile app, customers can easily “switch and save” on their data plan. Customers can change data options at any time during their billing cycle for no additional cost, and families can mix-and-match on an account to ensure that each person can choose the way to pay for data that makes sense for them.
